![]() ![]() I recently bought a car from their Norwich branch. Another indicator that customer satisfaction means nothing to the company I provided feedback (negative) directly to the car shop and I have heard nothing in response. Its frustating that no other dealer in my local area had the right car at the right price at the right time. The essence of customer service is rare, although the sales person i dealt with was really good when some issues occurred during purchase and the customer service advisor, post sale was very accommodating when damage occurred to the car due to the function of the car not being explained to me. The customer is put on a conveyor belt from when you are pounced on at the front door to when you reach the last office where someone in collections signs the keys over. The business model is based on high volume. I tried after a bad experience 6 years ago. With such a large range of well priced cars it is difficult to avoid the car shop. So overall when it comes to buying a car in my experience I found that fine, just don't be pushed into or jump into buying any of the extras they try to sell as I personally feel they are not worth it.Ī conveyor belt purchasing experience but a couple if great individual people made it bearable I'd be happy if they just say yes fine without being pushy or asking me ten million questions or a lecture as to why. I'll admit I should have been more insistent there and said I just want the car (something to learn in the future), however I will be cancelling the warranty and service/MOT plan despite losing some money there, I just hope that doing it won't be a pain however I fear it will be. Likewise with the service/MOT plan I found the same where there is much better value options for my personal circumstances. The car still has the original warranty until the end of this year and after that I've now found better options, even being able to extend the original one. I got the 1 year extended warranty and the service/MOT plan, which despite coming across as you won't find better I found out that there is. Looking back on it I regret purchasing some of them. ![]() Thing is while the car is fine and I'm happy to have bought it, what I don't like is the extras they push to try and sell to you after. The staff when buying came across as good and understanding. Needless to say I was happy with the car and thankful for them allowing me to test drive it and all, so I purchased it. I phoned up and they were happy to transfer it over to the Doncaster one with the transfer fee which I understood. It was located in the Cardiff branch, however being from Doncaster it wasn't exactly practical to go all the way down there. I saw a car I wanted in the specification I was after at CarShop around late January. Like i say though customer service was pretty faultless. ![]() I can't fault the customer service all very helpful and nice, but 2 and a half freakin' hours really? And whoever valets the cars should be shot, never seen such terrible work in all my life and i spent a hefty lump on a car so expected it to be immaculate, my toddler could have done a better job. I had the money in place and had chosen the car yet still had to wait around for over 2 hours. I don't understand why it was made so complicated. Once i payed for the car i then had to go see someone completly different to get all my paper work and the keys. All i really needed to do was turn up try the car pay for it and leave 45 minutes max i should imagine. I had no finance to set up no part exchange. After i decided that i wanted the car for sure i had to wait for another bloke to take my money (a different bloke from who took me on the test drive and greeted me) 2 and a half hours is a long time, there really isnt any need for it to take that long. In total in took 2 and a half hours, i was on a test drive about 10 minutes tops. I arrived early afternoon, i knew exactly which car i wanted, i had phoned the day before to book a test drive and was fairly confident that was the car i was going to purchase. ![]()
